Planners and Notebooks

Although we had a little later start today, it was fabulous! We had great fun together in the water before cera had to leave, and then set up hammocks and dove into reading.

Thank you so much cera for bringing in planners for everyone! Remember to write assignments down every day.

Daily literacy assignments are the same, so they will be easy!
1. Read 60 minutes
2. Complete Reading Log minutes on Bookopolis
3. Write specific comments about what you read in the Reading Log Form

I would just make boxes to check off and abbreviations

This week, when you finish a book, please write a review – Directions for Book Review – One Element are in resources.

Also please set up your literacy notebook. It is best if you obtain a 3-ring binder – something that allows you to add paper as needed. I will be handing out material as you need it – basically you will be making your own textbook. Plan on using and adding material to the binder for a couple of years!

I suggest a small binder (5.5 X 8.5) because it isn’t so bulky. If you prefer a regular size, though, that is just fine. Mine is a TUL, but an Avery mini notebook or similar brand will work just fine.

Please set up TABS for NOTE-TAKING, ROUGH DRAFTS, VOCABULARY, and WRITING RESOURCES
